If you are looking to hire a room or venue in the West Yorkshire area then consider the Castleford Phoenix Theatre. We can accommodate intimate gatherings to large meetings, bands, comedians, dance shows as well as Full pantomimes, musicals and anything in between.
Located just 5 mins from the A1 and M62 the Phoenix is situated in a good location with great local facilities close by including Junction 32 Outlet Village and Xscape Yorkshire leisure park.

We will work with you to tailor your event to be how you want it and ensuring your guests enjoy a memorable time, whatever the event.
Whether you are planning a show, a meeting or conference, a dance competition or even an educational seminar you can create an event that is distinctive and full of character.
Celebration parties, birthdays, religious and political bookings are all accepted. Business Conferences are welcome.
The Theatre
Seats 308 people on tiered raked seating. Good dressing rooms and our excellent technical support are fully available. Box office, bar and interval refreshments facilities are provided. The theatre is fully equipped with sound and lighting as well as media facilities. Catering can also be arranged.
The Drama Studio
The drama studio can accommodate 100 in a flexible layout. Being located close to the main theatre space it can act as a break away space or can be hired separately and is available for exhibitions, celebrations, small meetings and presentations.
The Turbine Studio
The Turbine studios are a suite of 3 Performing Arts studios that can be used as a rehearsal space, practice area or additional Front of House space if required. Rooms can be hired separately or in combination and are availble for long term lettings.
Theatre Foyer
The theatre foyer is a large, high space and can accommodate over one hundred people in a flexible layout. It can act as a meeting space, breakaway area or can be hired separately and is available for exhibitions, celebrations, small meetings, and presentations. The foyer includes our Spot Light Bar. A fully licensed bar that is availble to serve a range of snacks and refreshments.
All rooms have disabled access and a comprehensive range of production and event management services. Exhibition and Audio Visual equipment is available. Please ask for full details.
